Małgosia, Monika and Renata will demonstrate how to carry out a breast self-examination correctly. You’ll be able to practise on a specialised manikin, get valuable advice and answers to any questions you may have, and collect educational materials.

Osteobus Pro&Diagnostic is an innovative mobile diagnostic unit that provides comprehensive diagnostic examinations at locations convenient for the patient. Equipped with an advanced GE Lunar Prodigy densitometer, Osteobus enables precise diagnoses to be made using a minimal dose of harmless X-ray radiation.
TEST – OSTEOPOROSIS
Bone densitometry is an X-ray examination used to assess bone mineral density.
We carry out bone densitometry scans of:
– the lumbar spine (L1–L4)
– the femoral neck (hip)
The examination takes approximately 5 minutes (including a discussion with the patient regarding their weight and height, positioning the patient, the scan itself and printing the results).
Patients receive their results immediately after the examination
Contraindications:
– pregnancy
The patient may:
– have breakfast/lunch
– drink coffee/tea/water or another drink
– if the patient takes a morning dose of tablets, they may also take these.
Please also inform us of any cement or metal implants in the area being examined (e.g. a hip replacement)
Once the bone densitometry scan is complete, you may resume your normal daily activities straight away
