Who are we?

The Carita Foundation was established in 2010 by Wiesława Adamiec, who, after being diagnosed with multiple myeloma, decided not to give in to the disease. With hope and faith in the power of community, she created the Foundation to support other patients facing the same challenge, share with experience, and show that even in the face of illness, one can find meaning and hope.

The people who make up our community

The primary goal of our Foundation is to level the playing field for patients—so that everyone has access to modern diagnostic and treatment methods. We provide education about the disease and patients’ rights, offering support that helps them better understand and cope with the disease.

We share our knowledge and experience—both with patients and their families—because we believe that the support of loved ones is an invaluable part of the treatment process.

We organize educational meetings and workshops throughout Poland, providing patients with support and motivation at every stage of their journey. We ensure that Polish patients have access to the highest standard of care and can benefit from the latest medical advances.
